Unanimous Consent

A decision-making method where a proposal is adopted without a formal vote because no member objects. Unanimous consent is used to expedite routine or noncontroversial matters. If any board member objects, the matter must be handled through the regular motion and voting process. It is commonly used for approving minutes or adjournment.
